Visiting Evreux
Not far from your hotel in Evreux is the Notre Dame d'Evreux Cathedral. It was built in the 10th century and is a listed building. This cathedral is recognizable by its imposing size and a mix of all the different styles of religious architecture. In addition, the 70 stained glass windows in the cathedral are considered to be masterpieces of French stained glass art and the organ in the cathedral is large and modern in appearance. Together with the former episcopal palace, the cathedral forms the episcopal city of Evreux. The belfry of Evreux was built in the 15th century and is today the last belfry in Normandy. It is located at the beginning of a walk along the Iton river.

The festival "Le Rock dans tous ses états" was created in 1983 and takes place every summer at the hippodrome, a stone's throw from our hotel in Evreux.
